About the Program
Set to Soar is a supportive children’s therapeutic group program designed to help children develop a growth mindset, build confidence and strengthen resilience when facing challenges.
Through engaging activities, discussions, games and strengths-based learning, children are supported to understand that mistakes, setbacks and challenges are a normal part of learning and growth.
The program encourages children to develop positive self-belief, flexible thinking, perseverance and confidence in their ability to learn, improve and achieve their goals.
At Flying Colours Education, we believe every child has unique strengths and the ability to grow when they feel supported, encouraged and empowered.
WHAT CHILDREN WILL LEARN
Children participating in Set to Soar will be supported to:
develop a positive growth mindset
build confidence and self belief
strengthen resilience and perseverence
manage frustration and setbacks in healthy ways
develop flexible thinking and problem solving skills
recognise effort, progress and personal strengths
build emotional confidence and coping strategies
develop a more positive approach to learning and challenges
Who this Program May Support
This group may benefit children who:
lack confidence in themselves or their abilities
become easily discouraged or frustrated
avoid challenges due to fear of failure
struggle with perfectionism or self-doubt
need support developing resilience and positive self-belief
would benefit from encouragement and confidence-building in a supportive environment
A Safe & Supportive Environment
Our group programs are facilitated by qualified and experienced counsellors in a calm, welcoming and emotionally safe environment.
Children are encouraged to be themselves, celebrate progress over perfection, and build confidence through fun, engaging and interactive activities alongside their peers.
We understand that every child is different and we aim to ensure each child feels supported, and empowered throughout the program.

Junior Group: 10-12 years
Teen Group: 13-15 years
Group Size:
Small groups of up to 6 children
Session Length:
45 minute sessions

5 weeks

$200 total program cost ($40 a session)
