About the Program
Rise & Thrive is a supportive children’s therapeutic group program designed to help children build emotional resilience, confidence and practical coping strategies for navigating life’s challenges.
Through engaging activities, discussions, games and strengths-based learning, children are supported to better understand their emotions, manage challenges in healthy ways and develop greater confidence in themselves and their abilities.
The program encourages children to recognise that setbacks, mistakes and difficult emotions are a normal part of learning and growing. Children are supported to build resilience, positive self-belief, emotional awareness and problem-solving skills in a safe and encouraging environment.
At Flying Colours Education, we believe every child has the ability to grow, adapt and thrive when provided with the right support.
WHAT CHILDREN WILL LEARN
Children participating in Rise & Thrive will be supported to:
build self-confidence and self-esteem
develop resilience and coping skills
manage worries, frustration and difficult emotions
strengthen emotional regulation skills
develop positive problem-solving strategies
build perseverence and flexible thinking
recognise their strengths and achievements
improve social confidence and peer connection
Who this Program May Support
This group may benefit children who:
appear anxious or overwhelmed
struggle with confidence or self-esteem
become easily frustrated or discouraged
experience emotional regulation difficulties
avoid trying new things due to fear of failure
would benefit from building resilience and emotional confidence in a supportive environment
A Safe & Supportive Environment
Our therapeutic group programs are facilitated by qualified and experienced counsellors in a calm, welcoming and emotionally safe environment.
Children are encouraged to be themselves, celebrate differences and develop confidence through fun, engaging and interactive activities alongside their peers.
We understand that every child is unique and we aim to ensure each child feels supported, valued and empowered throughout the program.

Junior Group: 10-12 years
Teen Group: 13-15 years
Group Size:
Small groups of up to 6 children

45 minute sessions

$200 total program cost ($40 a session)
