The team at Flying Colours are wonderful to work with and I value their support and knowledge. This job provides the opportunity to work closely with students and adapt the practice of teaching to better meet their individual needs;
encourage pride in their unique process of learning; and develop knowledge and skills in a variety of ways which usually aren’t available in a large classroom.
For me, the biggest highlight of this job is watching the confidence of a child continually to grow and then hearing from a parent that they have also observed this growth.

This is a long-term job opportunity not a casual, between contracts position. This position is initially a contract, with
the prospect of becoming a permanent position for the right teacher.
We are expanding in the following areas:
Primary or Early Childhood Teacher
Secondary English Teacher
Secondary Mathematics Teacher
The core times we help kids are between 7am and 7pm so there are expanding opportunities to work during the day and/or the evening.
To be a Flying Colours teacher you’ll have….
- Primary or Early Childhood qualifications with primary teaching experience OR secondary qualifications (Mathematics or English)
- a commitment to helping children achieve their very best
- the ability to develop a positive rapport with your students
- an understanding, compassion and ability to teach students from a wide range of backgrounds, abilities and needs
- the ability to identify different areas of need and amend the program accordingly
- the capacity to communicate professionally and effectively to parents, carers and colleagues
- an interest in/passion for active, multi-sensory learning and a commitment to making learning fun.
- well developed technology skills and an ability or willingness to learn to use a variety of programs.

OUR SERVICES
We offer a range of personalised learning programs in both a small group and individual basis for your child from kindergarten through to year 12 in Maths and English.
We also provide specialised learning sessions for pre-schoolers and special needs therapy.
We assist your child in study and organisational skills. We also conduct intensive holiday reading, writing, spelling and maths programs.
ADDITIONAL SERVICES
This individual therapy can also be held at our office during school hours.
